Electric! The tension, the suspense, the momentum towards the collision of fear and the monster. Tess Gerritsen doesn't spare the reader one moment of unfettered relaxation. It is, of course, pertinent to remember that before Tess Gerritsen became an author, she was a practicing surgeon, as she never flinches from the graphic descriptions that accompany such things as evisceration. Die Again reminds me of why I love the writing of Tess Gerritsen. I lost interest in the TV show early on. I'm glad the show is doing well, but the books have so much more depth than is possible to convey in a 45 minute episode.
What I continue to be most impressed with is Tess's ability to explore new territory. The diversity of subjects in the Rizzoli & Isles Series is fascinating. I hope to see many more books in the series. ...more
