It's a good book if you are in the mood for a vampire urban story with some original elements and a sassy heroine. Oh, and if you like gun fights and zombies.
Anita has easy to read and funny inner dialogue, many issues and enough free time. Unfortunately, the author doesn't spare even a few paragraphs to do world-building, so how humanity knows about vampires, for how long and such basic things are left unclear.

I read this a few years back. I loved it back then and I still think it's a good book. Anita is definitely charming and interesting and yes, the book wasn't perfect, but it was well written, very original and entertaining.
