It really made me rethink my opinion of werecats/werewolves/shifters. Jacob's annoying behavior in Twilight made me dislike them, but now after reading this, I think they can be really appealing, and I'm looking forward to meeting more sexy changelings like Lucas in the rest of the series.

This was an interesting book. I liked the premise and I found NS to be good writer. I enjoyed the interaction between the main characters. The only problem I had with the book was the anti-climatic ending with the antagonist. The kidnapping was a side story, however, it was what placed the tension in the story and made you on edge to see if something would happen to cause the heroine to crack. Very promising start. I have the book for yrs but somehow always managed to push it back on my TBR list. I pulled it back in because I learned the audiobooks are narrated by Angela Dawe. Really love her voice so I can't find any fault in it yet. ^-^
