Well, it's not quite as bad as I had remembered from high school (when I would have given it about negative 3, wondering why anyone would have even published such trash).
Now, as an adult, it is simply a story of what happens to human nature when it has no guidelines, no culture, no adult supervision, and is attacked by fears and imagination.
