What Members Thought
Great classic! Dumas was the king of romantic novels. (Not the loe romantic but the romantic period) the story is full of action and suspense. There's love, betrayal, vengeance, and daring escapes. Edmond Dante's is the ultimate romantic hero. If ya liked the Three Musketeers than you'll love this (and vice versa lol). :-)

It's been some years since I've read this book but from what I remember, I felt it was beautifully, brilliantly put together. If you've seen the movie but haven't read the book- you are missing out on so much detail. I think I'll read it again then update my review.
