Hacía mucho que tenía ganas de leer algo de Virginia Wolf, y en uno de mis cumpleaños aproveché que mi hermano no sabía que regalarme y le dije “cómprame algún libro de Virginia Wolf” y este fue el que me regaló jaja.
Debo admitir que nunca fui muy fan del fluir de la consciencia, siento que para leer necesito las pausas y los capítulos. Pero para mi sorpresa no me resultó tan difícil de leer como esperaba, y no me maree tanto entre los pensamientos de un personaje y otro. Recuerdo cuando agregu

I actually watched the DVD (with Vanessa Redgrave) at the same time as reading the book and found that the one enhances the other. I don't think I would have enjoyed the book as much if I hadn't seen the film at the same time. ...more

Probably the book I've most often tried to read and then gave up after some pages. Now I don't really understand why, because I really enjoyed reading the novel. The different points of view are artfully done and it is always interesting to get an outer impression of a character first and then look inside of her or him and really understand them. Of all the characters I liked Peter Walsh best but I think that Clarissa Dalloway is quite impressive with all her flaws and inecurities.
