Another great Hercule Poirot mystery! I enjoy reading all of Agatha Christie's mysteries and this story was engaging and suspenseful. I loved that it took place in the air, as I was flying all over the world as I read this.
Aug 2012 update: I'm working my way through Dame Agatha's anthology and thought this one would be worth a reread. It was a quick entertaining read and I really enjoyed the story.

Read it as part of the omnibus Poirot: The French Collection. Poirot on the airplane...you can just imagine the hilarity that ensues. Of course, Poirot will also be solving a murder while the plane is in air. My review on the omnibus says,

Hercule Poirot is in an airplane and feels nauseous. While he is sleeping, an elderly lady is murdered. Who did it? She was supposedly murdered by the means of a dart gun that had been dipped in snake venom. Everyone suspects him because he is a foreigner.Of course, we know that he didn't do it. But who did? Somehow he is able to unravel all the clues and solve the mystery.

I very much like the books that take place in a controlled environment, like on a train or a plane. This story had a lot of twists and turns, like any Christie book. I really liked the twist that this had. Granted it was based on greed (and what crime isn't based on that?!), but it surprised me.
