Having grown up watching the Discworld cartoons and loving the mini-series as an adult, I finally knuckled down and read a Discworld novel. Online articles had various recommended reading orders, and as a massive fan of Death (the anthropomorphic personification, not the act), I chose this one. I thoroughly enjoyed the character, one liners and lessons, and can't wait to read my next Discworld novel.
