I loved the twists and turns in this book, but I hate having to think so hard to connect all the dots. This book is about Amber. She wakes up in the hospital with no memory of what happened. Her body is in a coma but her mind is alert and active and she wants to know what happened. We have to keep our minds open while reading this book and be very okay with unreliable narrators. I think when we read this we're expecting every single thing to measure up and for it all to be wrapped up in a nice little package where we say to ourselves, "Ahhh so that's what was going on!". However, that's not what happens with this one. You're left wondering at the end and it's alright because it was entertaining to read.
