My playdate with Peter Grant is over and I already miss our great time together <3 He’s always a charmer in his way of dealing with difficulties :)
Well, we all have our ways of dealing with difficulties – mine is to ask stupid questions.
Mr. Aaronovitch once again charmed me with his fab skill combining detective genre, police work, mythology and wit with UF. The book is well paced as well as entertaining to read. Mr Aaronovichs combined humor with serious content in an endearing and gripping way ...more

Peter was really busy! So many, by now beloved characters come together, so many witty remarks and fun situations and they work so well together. A lot of things happen, but this time it's less all over the place, more linear. Aaronovitch avoids a foreseeable plot by letting many players join the game. This book is one my two favorites of the series.

More fun and games with Peter Grant! This series just does not disappoint! So very easy to become lost in these books.

I really love this series.
I can't really say to much, given this is the 6th book in the series, but it still is going in an awesome way. I love the world building in this series, they way Mr. Aaronovitch sets a scene, it feel like you're right there in the action with Peter and Nightingale.
What I liked about this one was the settle references to past books (and comics).
Great audiobook, do not think I could read these books without them. ...more

Another brilliant entry in this series which I enjoy more and more with each instalment. Can't wait for the next one.

In usual Ben Aaronovitch style, Peter Grant surprises and entertains with quality although I admit I wasn't LOLling as much in this one as in earlier books (resulting in less peculiar glances at me whilst driving alone!). The audiobook was up to its usual excellent quality - go for it, read it, you know you want to!!
