Steve Krug offers a very good introduction to the topic of web usability and unsurprisingly it also deals with the web.
Someone who doesn't design websites but applications (supposedly there are still such people) can therefore do less with the book. And those who have been dealing with the topic of user experience design for a longer time may not find much new. But web designers who want to get into the topic of user experience can't go wrong with it!
