No, no, no, no, no... how can a book end like that? How am I suppose to survive without knowing what will happen next?

And that is the worst thing about 'Empire of Storms' and I guess it is the only bad thing about that... ok it is too short either but it is quite the same. When I finished 'Queen of Shadows' I already had 'Empire of Storms' waiting for me so I wasn't worriet that I will have to wait and now I'm left with nothing for quite a long... horrible feeling.

When I finished 'Queen of Shadows' I already had 'Empire of Storms' waiting for me so I wasn't worriet that I will have to wait and now I'm left with nothing for quite a long... horrible feeling.

So now it's time to say something positive about the book. It is really epic. I love every page of it, every character which was fighting in this war with Aelin, dialogues, good and bad moments, every character who I knew from previous books and I though I'll never read about them again.

We can read about how it was to go back home to Terrasen and that nothing in this war will be so easy, we can travel through whole continent with really many characters like Aelin, Rowan, Dorian, Manon, Elide, Lorcan, Aedion... we can see the same events from different perspectives, which is really great. I mostly don't like readnig books writen from so many points of view but I can say that it was great here. It really did. Thanks to that many of events were unexpected. It wouldn't be possible if the book was written only from Aelin's perspective. Aelin did a lot of unexpected, incredible, changing everything things and it was great to be surprised by her.

When you start reading 'Empire of Storms' make sure that you have a lot of time-you wouldn't be able to stop. And prepare yourself for a book that will make you laugh in some chapters, as well as cry in others... and then leave you hartbroken waiting and hoping that Aelin will rattle the stars in next book.

Nie, nie, nie, nie, nie... jak można tak zakończyć książkę? Jak teraz mam przetrwać, nie wiedząc, co będzie dalej?

I to jest chyba najgorsza rzecz, jeżeli chodzi o "Imperium burz" i myślę, że jedyna negatywna... ok książka jest za krótka, ale to w zasadzie to samo. Kiedy skończyłam "Królową cieni" już czekało na mnie "Imperium burz" więc nie musiałam czekać tak długo na następną książkę... okropne uczucie.

Chyba czas, żeby powiedzieć o książce coś pozytywnego. Jest naprawdę niesamowita: każda strona, każda postać, walcząca w tej wojnie z Aelin, dialogi, dobre i złe wydarzenia, każda postać znana z poprzednich książek, o których nie myślałam, że jeszcze będę miała okazję przeczytać.

W Imperium burz czytamy o tym jak to było wrócić do Terrasenu i, że nic w tej wojnie nie będzie proste, podróżujemy przez cały kontynent z wieloma postaciami jak: Aelin, Rowan, Dorian, Manon, Elide, Lorcan, Aedion... poznajemy te same wydarzenia, ale z różnych perspektyw, co jest naprawdę świetne. Przeważnie nie przepadam za tym zabiegiem w książkach, ale tutaj to się udało. Naprawdę. Dzięki temu nie spodziewałam się wielu wydarzeń. To nie byłoby możliwe, gdyby książka była napisana tylko z perspektywy Aelin. Aelin dokonała wielu niespodziewanych, niesamowitych, zmieniających wszystko rzeczy.

Jeśli planujesz czytać "Imperium burz" upewnij się, że masz dużo czasu, bo tej książki nie da się odłożyć. I przygotuj się, że ta książka doprowadzi Cię do śmiechu,w niektórych rozdziałach, jak i płaczu w innych... i na koniec zostawi ze złamanym sercem w oczekiwaniu i nadziei, że Aelin wstrząśnie gwiazdami w następnej części. ...more

This book cleaved me in half and flung me across the continents of Erilea. The events in this book tore the breath from me and left me in agony while anxiously waiting to find out what happens next. The ending left me incinerated by Aelin herself. I can't believe Maeve locked her up in an iron box and whipped her numerous times. This book is absolutely thrilling!! Sarah J Maas weaves a complex tale with war, love, and secrets. This book includes characters from The Assassin's Blade. The ending will totally SHOCK you!

OK. I HATE HOW AELIN JUST FUCKING PUNCHES MANON. IT'S REALLY NOT REALISTIC AT ALL, MANON IS 100+ YEARS OLD FOR FUCK'S SAKE AND HAS BEEN LITERALLY BEEN BRED FOR KILLING. LIKE WTF? ...more

Can I just say what an utterly gripping novel this is? So many secrets revealed, so many loose strands coming together, while even more are created. This is by far my favourite book the series. Maeve is so evil. So so evil. So many Queens and kings in one place... Braircliff, Terrasen, Adarlan, Crochen. My heart was ripped out of my chest several times during this book, I cannot possible describe how much I love this series.

This series is meant for women, and it is satisfying in many ways. The males are good looking and are amazing lovers :-) The characters are strong and lovable. Each book of this series is better than the previous one. A page turner indeed. Too bad the writting style is not as good as it could be. Therefore, I give it a 4.
