This book had some variation in pacing: sometimes pacing was really good, but then there were suddenly some longer phase when nothing really interesting or important happened. I loved some parts and sometimes I had to struggle with the reading.
Some of the characters are absolutely amazing!! My favorites are Manon & Elide - but I don't know if it's a good thing that secondary chracters are more likable than the main character. But all characters are well developed and has their own personalities ...more

I don't think the audio-book is the best way to consume this book but I'm also not sure I can make myself read through 600+ pages of this and keep my focus. But I used to really like this series and now.. I guess I don't.
All the characters that before felt different now feel like copies of each other, all the girls are bad ass, strong and independent (not that that stops them all from coupling up). And all the males (yes MALES, fae are not men they are freaking MALES you hear me?! yuck) are full ...more
