This series is phenomenally written, scenery, character development and the back and forth interwoven world-building!
I have a love hate relationship with Rowan and prefer Chaol, oh Chaol, so decent!
Loving the magic, the moments of flashback, although it took a few chapters for this book to sink in for me.

This book has left me absolutely drained. This is now my fourth book into this series and I truly don’t understand how the stakes still feel so low, and how I would still not care at all if any or all of these characters were killed off. Sarah, I am begging you, do SOMETHING soon; my life force is draining away.
