Recommend Reading Print vs Audio: Some parts of the writing does not transfer well to audio format.
- Narration: Raymond Todd did a good job narrating the story. I enjoyed the way he recited the song. He used the correct cadence and accents.
- I lowered audio speed to 2.65x because I wanted to enjoy the re-read by audio.
- Restarted audio on 01/06. Took a break from audiobooks on the 5th & listened to a lot of music.
- Ch1-3 are loaded with key details about the characters, polit ...more

Fascinating convoluted tale of a fascinating multi-faceted character and his apprentice. Can't believe it's the same author as The Bone Doll's Twin, which was clunky and awkward.
