Absolutely wonderful. Harris keeps upping the ante in action and plot. I love the way she keeps developing the characters and I am more intrigued than ever in what is happening, and, most of all, what will happen. This book is GOOD!
I enjoyed this installment of Sookie's misadventures. I liked the pacing, and I felt that we had some resolution, as well as enough loose ends for the inevitable 10th book. I love Eric, and I was glad to see more of him. I'm hoping this book marks a turn in the series, and it gets exciting again.

The reason I gave this 4 stars? Eric...and Bill...I like the books better when they are in the main story!!! I didn't really care about the fairy war...do we really need more characters? But I like the note this ended on!!!! From page 213 on....it's a winner!
