The best book of the cycle so far. It was an excellent book that developed the plot and characters better so that the fourth book can get right into the meat of the matter.

I remember LOVING the beginning part of this book, thinking it was simply epic in Helgrind. I reread this 2 years later and I'm just unimpressed. I don't know why I thought it was so great. Don't get me wrong, I still really enjoyed this book and read it quickly (which means I like it). I just don't get why I thought it was "so great". Nonetheless, I'm very excited to finish the series and read Inheritance for the first time. But that has to wait until after finals. You're welcome mom.

It was very long and not a ton happened but of coarse it is Eragon so I can't completely complain.
