Shelves: klassiker, engelsk-klassiker, filmatisert, barnebøker

When I was a kid, I absolutely loved Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I begged people to read it to me at every opportunity. I got my mom to read it to me. I got my grand dad to read it to me. I got my aunt to read it to me. I just loved it.

Now I'm an adult well into my thirties. I got two kids of my own. A boy of 2 years and a girl of 5. So what's more natural than reading it for my girl?

Did she enjoy it? Not that much. She's probably too young. But still she wanted me to read it at times.

2015 50 Book Reading Challenge: A book from your childhood

I loved Roald Dahl's books growing up and rereading this one really brought me back. I still love it just as much as I did when I read it in elementary school, and will surely read it to my kids someday. I am so glad I read it again after all these years. ...more
