Entertaining read that takes the reader into the near future when society has collapsed from an unnamed virus. The story centers on different characters and goes back and forth between contemporary times to about 20 years after the tragic collapse. I probably would have given this 5 stars except I kept comparing it to "Earth Abides" by George R. Stewart which in my opinion is a much more thorough and realistic look at how society would cope with humanity almost being wiped out. Still I would rec

I've been wanting to read this book for awhile, so I figured might as well go for it during the COVID-19 pandemic. If you're debating whether to read this now, I'll say their pandemic and subsequent collapse of society was way worse than ours is projected to be.

Excellent read. Dystopian fiction isn't a genre that I've visited much before, so I don't want my five star rating to be misleading. However, the premise of a pandemic with a 99.9% fatality rate called the Georgia flu (I.e. Swine flu) gave me a collegiate flashback to standing in line for my flu shot at the student health
