Wow, this book deserves six, no ten stars! I have no idea why you aren't required to read this in high school! It beats many other books
by far!
I love it! There is no other book like it! It's written very well. And the characters are so memorable! I love Quincy! He's my favorite! And the plot! WOW! Oh, I can't remember his name now but the crazy guy was done very well!!

With all the vampire hype going on at the moment I was curious to read the novel that established the entire vampire story genre as we know it today. So far I haven't been lucky with classics and often ended up being bored...that wasn't the case with Dracula at all. From the very beginning I was sucked into the story with its loveable characters (one of the points I was most suprised about) and besides one or two verbose scenes rather breathless till the end.

I read this book the first time in university (about 10 years ago), and all I remembered about it was that it was kind of boring. But I decided to give it another go in audiobook format. And it was boring.
The beginning was not boring. The beginning was beautiful and scary and creepy, and Dracula was a terrifying figure, partly because of how utterly charming he was. I really enjoyed the whole part of the book that followed Harker in Transylvania.
