I love all things Jane Austen, but the pleasure of reading Jane Austen’s Emma didn’t come right away. Slow to start, Emma is in no rush to tell its story. But it doesn’t take long to fall in love with these wonderful, detailed characters, and their flaws!

This book is classic Jane Austen - elegant writing, lovable characters, quick wit/humor, and descriptive writing. The scenes are so visible and the characters are so alive, it's as if I am sitting in the parlor with them and observing t ...more
