Slaughterhouse-Five is a fantastic book. Dark, funny, intelligent, sad. Billy Pilgrim, the main character in this book is an American POW. We get to experience is life, some times a few times over as he travels through time and his life in the Tralfamadorians zoo.

I'm really glad to be finished with this book. For a short book it took me too long to read. I persevered and didn't hate it but its not really my cup of tea. It was different than I expected. I knew it was about a WWII prisoner of war experience during the bombing of Dresden but I was not prepared for space aliens and time travel.
