What Members Thought

A wonderfully moving and endearing but devestating book. I have a special vulnerablity to books centered on damaged and somewhat asperger-like characters and this book falls squarely in that camp. The main character sees himself as a shy wall-flower but in reality he's bewildered by things that his too quick mind observes but he's unable to figure out how to deal with.

I think the target audience is misfit teens and it just was not my kind of book.
Charlie's friends initially seemed like good friends to him, but as the book progressed, they became worse and ...more
