I enjoyed this. It's the kind of magical fantasy I enjoy, where the main character travels to another world. This is filled with nonsense, which makes it really fun.

I listened to the audiobook read by Scarlett Johansson. It was a wonderful rendition!
I've been reading this with my almost 5 year old. First, I must say that the artwork in this book is amazing. It is worth owning merely to flip through the beautiful illustrations. That being said, I never read this as a child and as an adult I don't get it. Pure gibberish... not funny like Pooh or Peter Rabbit. Exhausting as a read aloud because of the nonsensical dialog. Yuck.

Though I've been familiar with most of this, I've never read it cover to cover until now. It's quite good but there have been so many references to it over the years that there wasn't much here that I'd not encountered before.
