What Members Thought

I have read Alice in Wonderland many times, I own few different versions. From pop-up to chose your own adventure, to the actual book it's self. I just haven't read this particular copy, which I have owned since the mid to late 2000s.

I'm throughly canvassed that this story is something spacial. It's most assuredly not flat and the characters form quite a procession through Alice's admittedly muddled subconscious and possibly my own. I love the puns and childish cast of characters. I enjoyed this. It's the kind of magical fantasy I enjoy, where the main character travels to another world. This is filled with nonsense, which makes it really fun.

I am unable to objectively say if this is a good book or not, because it is an iconic book to me, and will always be a good book to me.
There is magic in Alice, even more in Through the Looking Glass. It is never the same tale twice. Every time I read it, I find something new, it's like the core of the story is the same, but the details change... ...more

Though I've been familiar with most of this, I've never read it cover to cover until now. It's quite good but there have been so many references to it over the years that there wasn't much here that I'd not encountered before.
Still... it's a great quick read. ...more
