What Members Thought

I quickly became attached to these characters, and Mrs, Who, Whatist and Which. There is a certain air about the is book, if that makes any sense at all. I guess it's sort of like Meg trying to explain light to Aunt Beast. I thoroughly enjoyed A Wrinkle in Time. Some books you can review and go on about the book, others it's the feeling you got when reading it. Sure I can say Meg and her little brother Charles are not like other kids, Charles especially and how they travel through time and space

This was a book I read again and again as a child. It has aged pretty well. I had forgotten how religious it was - it's not just an epic good v evil story but there is a lot of discussion about God who is "He". The book is better than the movie, though, and the movie has purged the religion.

First read in 4th grade, and several times since then, this has lost none of its magic. It is complex and full of scientific, metaphysical, and religious philosophy and speculation. It is a book to make you think and wonder - about time and space, about good versus evil, about self-worth and what gives meaning to life. As an adult, I am especially struck by the ending.
