I think I was annoyed because going into it I was told it was a dystopian novel, so I wanted this dystopian world laid out for me...which is something you don't get until you're something like 30 pages from the end.

This book did a nice job letting you know that something creepy was going on without ever coming right out and saying it. You know it's set in a dystopia, but for most of the book you can't put your finger on exactly what is wrong, which is kind of intriguing, but also was sometimes sooo subtle that I got bored.
