Re-read in preparation for Pbs show. Last time I read it I wad 8 or 9. Enjoyed the old fashioned values and life, though at times the story flows oddly. Still, the family is so true to how family is, and the sweet romance of Jo and Mr Bear, and Amy and Teddy were a charming change from today’s stories.
