My first read of A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. I have watched movies of A Christmas Carol and have liked them so decided it was time to red the story.
Merry christmas.
I thought after seeing so many versions of this story in movies and plays that the book would seem dull. Surprisingly, I really liked it. I had started it before Christmas and had hoped to finish it on Christmas Day. However, we came home late on Christmas Eve night after spending the day with my family to find our house had been broken into and all of our electronics, financial records, and gifts for my husband's family had all been stolen. Have you seen any of the versions of A Christmas Carol? Great! No need to read this unless you just really like Dickens.
I enjoyed finally reading this book since I’ve known the story for years and have seen the movie many times. The book was able to describe it better than any of the movies could. I liked it and would enjoy reading it every year for Christmas
