I enjoyed this book much more than I thought I would, as much as I love novellas and the expansion of the world and characters, some stories can be drawn out and boring. This book was not that way, each story kept me entertained, along with Magnus' sarcastic, dry humor. I also loved seeing such a detailed look at full family trees and members from the past hundred years or more. I loved this because I enjoyed Bane as an MI character and it was interesting to learn about his past life and his future life and his relationship with Alec.
