I loved this series as a child. They were among the first chapter books I ever read, and I absolutely adored them. I've read them multiple times since, but not anytime recently, so I figured it was time for a reread.
It's definitely dated - no doubt about that - but stands the test of time alright, and I'm keen to continue on with the series. ...more
