I have really liked every Brandon Sanderson book I have read--my biggest complaint is that they are usually never-ending: finishing with a cliff-hanger with the next book not coming out for a long time. I have no complaints about Steelheart. It was very entertaining, quick to read AND it actually finished at the end. Not that there won't be a sequel--there were a couple of hints towards one--but this particular story about Steelheart was complete.

I absolutely love this whole series. It's silly but the stakes are high, it's a great reversal of many superhero tropes. The fight scenes are so creative and exciting. I especially enjoy the different cities, they are all so unique and described in a way I can clearly picture even though I haven't read the books in a couple years

A fantastic concept for a series...a world where people mysteriously develop superpowers...and invariably use them for evil. Sanderson's writing is excellent, as usual.
