The second book in the Casey Duncan series picks up shortly after the first leaves off. The little hidden town where people go to be forgotten sure seems to have an unpleasantly high murder rate, but perhaps that's to be expected when the mysterious group who runs the place keep slipping in dangerous people under false pretenses. Not as good as the first one but still entertaining. There were some holes in the plot that irked me in this book and I didn't see why Casey needed unpleasant Jen to tip her off about the likely killer (or was so slow to react, once that had occurred). Also when Val woke up and saw someone in her house who looked like Dalton, why be so sure she had imagined it without considering it might have been Jacob? And the way people escape from custody in this town is ridiculous!
