This was a nice book to read outloud. Terabithia is every kid's Narnia. We knew we couldn't create Narnia the way it really was, but we would swing into Teribithia and make it as real as we could and give it our best shot... it didn't matter if we didn't know what to say as King, we just went and tried.

I have heard only good things about this book but have never read it. I decided to give audio books a try and this was the first one I picked up. It was a very nice story and I wish I had read it when I was younger. I'm not sure how much of my enjoyment for the story was hampered by the fact I was listening to it in the car (and therefore in fits and bursts) or the fact that I was listening to it and not reading it. I just re-read this because I saw the movie. Still a touching story and, due to happenings in my life, perhaps even sadder this time around.
