I give up. I can't do this to myself anymore. This was a bestseller? For the record, I am most of the way through disc 2.
Maybe it's worse for me that I'm listening to the audiobook? She's doing this atonal singing thing for each chapter heading which is just...unforgivably awful.

Everything I've read about this book had me expecting to love it, and what a disappointment this was. Maybe I just need to give up on "humor" books, because I am 0 for 5 now (the 5 including Amy Poehler, Tina Fey, Mindy Kaling, David Sedaris, and this book).

DNF- but I read 222 pages. Future self- do not check this out again.

Her blog makes me snort with laughter sometimes - super excited to see if she holds up in book form.
