2.5? It was okay but I'm never really a fan of Patterson's writing style.
The premise is intriguing here but the execution didn't work for me. I'm not a fan of books where the narrator talks directly to the reader--it feels forced and just makes me think the story would be better served as a TV show or movie. Not bad. Good for mystery fans certainly but not a favorite. ...more
