As a teenager I went through a period of reading a vast number of distopian novels - probably all the teenage angst. I think this is another short novel from 10th grade advanced English at Pearl River High School.
I believe this is the dystopia novel where babies are grown in jars, but maybe I am thinking of Woman on the Edge of Time. Hell, maybe both books have babies growing in jars. It's been a long time since I've read either of them.
