I really enjoyed this one. I had heard good things about it from some goodreads friends and when my library got an audio copy I just couldn't put off trying it any longer. I like the world, love the magic types and enjoyed the characters. Love Ezra the most of the mages. There's something about him that is just fabulous. Tori is snarky and trouble as well as a fun character to follow.

Excellent read!
I dove into this doubting that it would be that great but boy was I surprised. (The title made me think it could go either way.) This was a great book, a real page turner and super fun! Great characters, not too much snark, character growth that makes sense and a sweet big brother. Really enjoyed it and will definitely go grab the next one.

Completely fine, fluffy PNR with a heroine that I didn't really like. I didn't hate hate her.. she was just a little too prickly for me.
