3.5 stars rounded up to 4 for Bears!
I enjoyed this, but I keep forgetting that the audio for Singh books makes me hyper aware of all her repetition - "Silver f###ing Mercant" and "gangster bears" each appearing about a gazillion times for example. Still the bear clan is charming and I like the big strong teddy bear alpha with the huge heart and Silver's family - grandma and brother are both great. The new Trinity arc is also promising and I look forward to more. ...more

I loved this book!! It was a wonderful start to this new series! I liked it so much I pre ordered number 2.Valentin is just so gah..Well wonderful. I adored the scenes when he was showing affection and interacting with and to his clan mates <3 Silver didn't touch me like her mate but I found no real fault in her.All in all I definitely recommend this book!!

This was one of my absolute favourites of the series. I love the bears!! The den is amazing, I love how they have brought the outside into their space. All the characters in the bear clan were fun to learn about and have such personality. Also learning more about the Mercant family was fascinating. Silver is incredible, there is so much to say about her but it is hard to do without spoilers. Valentin makes for one of the best heroes in the series.
