2 Heart stoppingly original
I've read a lot of paranormal romance and started urban fantasy this year. After reading widely in any genre you know what to expect. But this familiarity is a double edged sword. Popular tropes can be both entertaining and tedious.

I would put Nalini Singh, Ilona Andrews and Patricia Briggs into one category because those writers create such a fascinating world and this is one. Swoon worthy Gabriel and fierce Elena will never fail to make such an intense story. I fell in love with Elena on the first page, from her strong personality and her ability to protect her loved ones. I couldn't stop re reading when Gabriel and Elena fell together, to imagine an Archangel loving true. ...more
