This was a little novella in between books 1 and 2 of this series and I really enjoyed it. It takes place straight after The Iron King finished and Meghan has to go with Ash to the Winter Fae's palace. He's not the only one who is determined to deliver her to the Winter Queen and together they have to race ahead without being captured.

This was a good short story. Nothing amazing, but a nice little read to fill in the time of how and what happened with Meghan when she reached Winter's court.
