Fabulous, Thrilling and utterly fascinating. This fairy tale is even better then the first book. The world building is incredible as are the relationships of the characters. Puck, Meghan and Ash and a new group of fae try to stop a war between the winter and summer fae, but everything is not as it seems. They must risk their lives and the ones they love to change the outcome. there are so many hidden reasons, so many hidden faces, totally twisted !!! Loved it, a first class fairy tale !!

All I can say is WOW! The second book was even better then the first which is defiantly saying something considering how well and put together the first book was. Again, this book had a nice balance between a love story, thriller, and mystery. I was captivated right from the get go! I cannot get enough of Julie Kagawa! I absolutely love the characters and the plot of both of her books. Cannot wait for the third book to be release in Feb. 2011…. The end of the book through me for a loop although, ...more

Although YA is not normally a book of choice for me, I really enjoyed the last 2 books in this series and this one didn't totally disappoint either.

As promised Meghan returns with Prince Ash to the Winter Court. She finds herself, cold, lonely and just plain miserable. Ash is being the cold hearted fae she expected him to be, refusing to look at her and when he does speak to her, he reminds her she is just a lowly half-breed not worthy of speaking to a royal prince! He was being such an ass! Yet

A great follow up in the series. I'm not so sure I like Ash, I really think I'm Team Puck... but it might be a losing team. I'm really not a fan of starcrossed lovers or love triangles but I really liked the story. I'm really liking the Iron Fey and the troubles they seem to cause.

I was a bit surprised at those who were enemies that became allies and those were were supposed to be allies who became enemies. Many twists and turns to keep the reader hooked into the story. Well done!
