Lately I have been enjoying reading space and science themed books.
I liked the pace of this book even though it forced me to slow down in order to understand the more technical details in the book.
This book has inspired me to some self reflection as well.
Will have to watch the move a second time just to prepare better for my book club meeting.

I saw this movie back when it came out, and I loved it so much I had to get the book.

Well, I was dissapointed. The writing style just did not work for me, the author tried to balance out very long explanations about science with sarcastic humour, but that just made the book feel really immature in my opinion. I could not relate to the main characte ...more

Very enjoyable. Mark Watney is a great character, who better to abandon on a deserted planet??
Full of good humour, positivity and resourcefulness. Would enjoy meeting him in real life.

Great book! I listened to the audio version and it's just amazing! Wil Wheaton's performance brings it to life so much so that it feels like listening to a movie (and now I do want to re watch the movie!)
