A solid 4 🌟🌟🌟🌟 read - A book of two halves, slow to start, but once it got going grips you like an iron vice.

This really is a book of two halves and the second half picks you up, slaps you across the face with a kipper and pummels you to its conclusion leaving you bereft and jonesing like the worst kind of junkie for the next instalment and a slightly disappointing and anticlimactic ending with more loose threads than a cat could ever wish for. Another fantastic book in this series but with yet another huge cliff-hanger. I'm just SO glad I don't have to wait for the next one to come out - Amazon takes all of about 60 seconds to deliver hehe.

I love the way Mac's character is developing, but I'm still puzzled as to who or what Barrons is. And what are Rowena's real intentions? And as for Fiona! Grrr - nasty nasty woman, leaving the window open and turning the lights out like that! Hope she gets her comeuppance one day!

I liked this book fairly well, better than I did the first in this series. The only thing I don't care terribly for is the cliff hanging ends to her books. Story line: Mackayla Lane's in Ireland trying to find her only sisters killer. She's working with Jericho Barrons who is more than he's telling her. He pretty much tells her on a need to know basis. She learns of others like herself and doesn't know if she should trust them or not. ...more

Book #2 left me with more questions than answers, how very frustrating! I am definitely hooked if just because I need to know everyone's secrets :) Well there is one bad guy out of the way. My question about that is (view spoiler)
Well things did heat up some with Mac and Barrons. But we
