I watched Angela Davis's speak at the Women's March in January, and this book was a nice companion and introduction to her ideas, activism, and legacy.

It was a very thought-provoking mix of interviews, emails, and speeches that she gave around some big and relevant ideas -- racism, the struggle for freedom and equality, sexism, feminism, intersectionality, the prison system and prison-industrial complex.
