What a brilliant book.
I read part of this in a cafe, and a fellow coffee-drinker asked me what my book was, and then proceeded to ask me what it was about. In one way, this isn't really a book about anything, in the sense that there's not a great deal of plot. This is another book that I find it hard to explain why I love it so much. On top of that, this book is a prime example of the difference between "fiction" and "literature" in my mind, with this book being solidly Literature.
