Such a little gem. Got it free on Kindle too!! I think the Copyright must have expired.
I read this as a selection for the Rory Gilmour book club and was surprised by how attached I became to our protagonist Edna and her newly discovered life. Proto-feminist literature at it's best.

I first read this in college and didn't truly understand Edna. I'm feeling differently at 38. I had to re-read this since we're teaching it in AP Lit this year, but I'm glad I did.
