It's a short book but it doesn't mean it needs to be read quickly. Gauld creates panels specifically to slow the reader down and give them a sense for the emptiness and solitude of the moon, especially with its dwindling population. It feels like it should be sad, but it ends up leaving the reader strangely peaceful and satisfied, and maybe even longing for a transfer *to* the moon colony.
