Wow. Just. Wow.
This book was awesome. At the beginning it did felt like it was going too slowly for me but then things get interesting and... yeah. I literally have no words.
Talking about the new characters: I liked them. My favorites are obviously always going to be Cinder, Kai and Iko. At the beginning I really found Scarlet annoying, not because of her attitude but because she interrupted Cinder's story. Then her story gets interesting itself and connects with Cinder's and it's awesome. The w ...more

This book as the right combination of sci-fi and fiction in a retelling of a classical story. Scarlet is original within it's own roots, has a good pieced world building, with it's history and futuristic telling.

I loved this book! The only reason this didn't quite reach 5 stars for me is because it took a while for the story to take off; I feel like most of the action was left until almost the end of the book.
I love Scarlet and Wolf as a couple! He totally had me fooled, but in the end he couldn't deny his love for Scarlet; that sounds really cheesy, but I totally ate it up.
Cinder and Thorne are so dynamic together, and Thorne is hilarious, such a great addition!
