There are no spoilers in this review
It is very rare that a sequel lives up to and surpasses the first book but Scarlet has done just that. You can tell that Meyer grew a lot in her style of writing and in the detail/plot lines of the book compared to Cinder. This book was a lot more face-paced and didn't lag, like I found the first book doing. I was completely engrossed in this book and couldn't stop reading it.
